It’s been a crazy week for sure. We were on the best fishing of the year the early part of the week in one section and mediocre fishing in another section. Finally some much needed rain made everything cold and miserable and a huge downpour flooded one trib and nearly knocked out Drayton.
So right now we are grinding it out with post front conditions and fast falling water in one section. Fishing is steady but far from what a pre spawn bite normally looks like. We are still getting good fishing but going about it differently than normal.
For whatever reason the fish are liking frozen sucker which is not normal but with marginal bait situations this is a good thing.
