THE RIVER HAS STABLE WATER!
This week the fish are in mid river holes with faster current and it is GAME ON! I am still using 5oz sinkers because of a few of the spots I am fishing but 4oz is working fine in most places Sit times have shortened to about 10 minutes but I have still been staying for 20-25 minutes to make sure I am getting the most out of a spot.
Dead sucker is still my preferred bait but frogs are working well. Goldeye works I am sure but I have not committed much time to it yet.

This Friday and Saturday is Cats Incredible in East Grand Forks. Catfish Capital Challenge in Drayton ($10,000 guaranteed 1st place) is August 9 and 10. A few spots remain in both.
