August 25, 2019 Catfish Report

It has been another up and down week but we have been surviving with some big fish to keep everyone interested. The Drayton stretch has been the toughest nut to crack since the high water of July. The fish just don’t seem to be moving up like normal.

The best fishing seems to be in the mid river holes if you have a couple days of stable weather and out of the current tight to structure after a front pushes. Baits change daily with the overall best being one day dead sucker and frogs.

There are still many openings now thru the end of the season. Call 701-739-5808 or email braddurick@gmail.com for availability.
