July 11, 2019 Catfish Report

Catfishing on the Red is picking up however it doesn’t mean much since the rains of mid-week will have must mostly flooded out by the weekend. Docks have been removed and there is a chance that area ramps could close by the weekend.  This will be a very short lived high water event and things should be back to sort of normal in about 10 days.

Catfish are biting along the break lines and near the banks. Sucker both fresh and frozen are working. Also some reports that frogs are good even though difficult to secure. Shore fishing feeder creeks and tributaries may produce some nice fish as they tend to move up those creeks during times of fast rising waters.  Be careful and be safe.

We are wide open the 2nd half of August and September. Fishing should be good right down to the end now. Call 701-739-5808 or email braddurick@gmail.com for availability.
