The ice is off the river. Now it is just the waiting game for the heat. Forecast looks fairly cool over the next 10 days but the sun has some real power behind it. I am seriously thinking I will be able to start around May 1 give or take a few days but should be rocking for sure by the 8th or 9th.
If conditions hold like they are we should see similar results as last year early which was stupid good fishing for the first few weeks.
