New week new high water on the way and the spawn is in full swing. Right now, catfishing is a grind for sure. We are now on our fourth high water in just over a month so the fish are confused from that and add in that spawn. Fish tight to cut banks where there […]
The water is rising yet again on the Red River. This time appears to not be as bad as the previous two but it is still changing things. The catfish have moved back from the middle break line to the shoreline or drop off that is normally the shore into the river. Generally, areas where […]
Heavy rains last week have the river angry. It is expected to reach flood stage tonight and remain for about a week. We are currently shut down and will resume as soon as we can. It looks like about June 5th. The positive to this high water is that it is happening during an upstream […]
Things have slowed a little over the past week. All this means is the crazy numbers of fish are more normal/ Water levels remain perfect, water temps are still in the low-60s and the bigger catfish are continuing to move in. There has been rain upstream near Fargo that is going to put the FM […]
Catfishing remains fast and furious this week. Water levels are still near perfect, water temps are in the low-60s and the bigger catfish are moving in and bulking up and get ready for the spawn which should still be weeks away. The fish are clean and healthy. The forecast looks very favorable going forward. I […]

Well it seems we are now going to have the ever-lasting spring. Water temps are holding right around 50. Catfish are biting but they are right on the edge of taking off. The good news is we are getting some much needed rain. As of right now we are still looking at May 11 for […]
We are in the river. Things are just starting to get going but probably will be going fast and furious by the end of next week. Right now I am thinking we will start taking trips the first week of May. There are lots of great dates available early and if we can get a […]
Spring is here and there was no flood. The forecast appears to be warm and dry. Right now I am thinking we could be scouting catfish in as little as 10 days from now and could start taking trips the first week of May barring a cool down. There are lots of great dates available […]
